  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 cups thinly sliced cabbage
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 pound lean ground beef (85/15 blend)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon fine sea salt, or to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper, or to taste
  • ½ onion, finely diced
  • 1 carrot, julienned or coarsely grated
Instructions
    • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Once the oil is hot, add the ground beef and cook for about 5 minutes, breaking it up with a spatula, until it's browned and no longer pink. Season with salt and pepper.
