Ingredients
4slices of bologna
4slices of bread (white or your choice)
2slices of cheese (optional)
1tbsp butter (for frying)
2tbsp mayonnaise (optional)
2tsp mustard (optional)
1 dill pickle, sliced (optional)
Instructions
Warm a non-stick skillet over medium heat, then melt the butter evenly.
Score the edges of each bologna slice to prevent curling.
Place the bologna slices in the skillet and fry for 2–3 minutes on each side until browned and crispy.
If using cheese, place a slice on top of the bologna during the last minute to melt.
While the bologna cooks, lightly toast the bread slices in a toaster or skillet.
Spread mayonnaise and mustard (if desired) on one side of each bread slice.
Assemble the sandwich by layering fried bologna, cheese, and pickles between the toasted bread slices.
Slice in half and serve warm.
