½cup vegetable oil
3 large eggs
Instructions
Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (or 325°F for dark or nonstick pans). Grease the bottom and sides of your pan(s) or use cooking spray.
Mix the ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, water, oil, and eggs. Beat on low speed for 30 seconds, then on medium speed for 2 minutes until the batter is smooth. Scrape the bowl as needed.
Pour the batter: Pour the batter into your prepared pan(s). If using two round pans for a layer cake, divide the batter evenly between them.
Bake: Bake according to the chart below or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean:
8" or 9" round pans: 25-30 minutes
13" x 9" pan: 28-33 minutes
Bundt pan: 38-43 minutes
Cupcakes: 18-22 minutes
Cool the cake: Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing it. Transfer the cake to a wire rack and cool completely.
